Maineville & Hamilton Township

Located in South Central Warren County. Surrounded to the north and west by the Little Miami State and National Scenic River. The Little Miami Scenic River is 105.5 miles long.
Hamilton Township is located between Lebanon and Loveland and bordered on two sides by the State and National Scenic River and the Bike Trail.

Located in Warren County, Hamilton Township is the fastest growing township within the county. Canoeing on the Little Miami River is very relaxing and enjoyable. as well as traveling the 13.5 miles of hiking and biking trails that run along side the river. Hamilton Township has grown at a very fast since the 1990 census with a population at that time of 5,005 to the present estimated population of over 15,000. Approximately one half of the township still remain rural and with farmland while the other one half is growing at a very fast pace. Housing in this area start at just below $100,000. to $5,000,000. depending on your wants and needs.

Hamilton Township owns 330 acres of parkland. Testerman Park is open year round and offers activities such as soccer, baseball, football, tennis and basketball. There is a kid/tot lot area for small children.

Hamilton Township purchased the first land for it’s parks in 1975. The area was a 23.5 Acre parcel of land along Loveland-Maineville Rd. There was a request from residents to have a ball field named for William “Bill” Testerman who was clerk of the township prior to the purchase of the park land, and this was done in his memory. This is how the park has received his name as Hamilton Township “Testerman” Park. Testerman Park includes a park area for ball fields and a toddler play lot for the smaller kids. The parks also has a basketball court and a concession stand is leased out to the Athletic Association. There are shelter houses with grills and picnic tables. There is a walking trail that surrounds the park and is very much used for exercise. There are no pets allowed in the park.

Hamilton Township now has a park for walking your dog or just taking your dog out to let him run for exercise. This park is located on the corner of Morrow-Cozaddale Road and East US 22 & 3 just across from the Little Miami High school. It consists of 6.5873 Acres of land donated to the township by J.P.S. Development, LLC. The park is fenced and has water as well as the necessary tools for you to clean up from your pet with plastic bags, trash cans and the like. There are two fenced off areas one with a little over two acres and one with a little over one acre for the large and small animals. There are two benches for resting while your pet working toward being able to open the 263 acres on Stubbs-Mill Road to allow fishing and limited boating as well as other activities
